Job Overview

The Programmatic Lead will be responsible for driving premium programmatic revenue growth across News UK's digital platforms. This role will focus on developing and maintaining relationships with key agency partners and specialist teams at clients, as well as leading programmatic pitches and sales efforts to support revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive programmatic advertising revenues by developing and maintaining relationships with key agency partners and specialist teams at clients.
  • Directly lead programmatic pitches and sales efforts to support revenue growth across News UK's digital platforms.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.
  • Negotiate and secure new revenue through premium programmatic deals, leveraging a deep understanding of how this complements existing display spend.
  • Maintain an open relationship with Ozone to maximise programmatic revenue into newsbrands.
  • Collaborate with internal digital sales teams and be the go-to programmatic sales subject matter expert.
  • Engage with international agencies and clients to expand programmatic advertising efforts on a global scale and drive revenue growth in new markets.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and regulations, and provide thought leadership and insights to internal teams and clients on the latest developments.

Requirements

  • Extensive background in programmatic advertising sales, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue goals.
  • Considerable network and established contacts with major programmatic buyers throughout the industry.
  • Ability to effectively pitch and sell at a senior level to build strong relationships with key clients and agency partners.
  • In-depth understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem and the digital media landscape.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive business decisions.
