Senior Accountant Opportunity

Reed Finance is partnering with a growing international business in St Ives to find a Senior Accountant.

This newly created position will support the CFO, focusing on the UK business and global group.

The company culture is inclusive, fun, and hardworking, with a finance team in St Ives that enjoys their work and holds high standards.

This is a full-time role with hybrid working available, along with life insurance, health insurance, and contributory pension.

We are seeking an experienced professional with several years of relevant experience. A formal accounting qualification is preferred, but we welcome applications from part-qualified and QBE accountants with strong experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Month-end close and review of General Ledger activity.
  • Production of group financial statements.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Accruals and prepayments.
  • Treasury management.
  • Monthly calculation of royalties and quarterly reporting.
  • Variance analysis.
  • Assisting with the external audit.
  • Assisting Head of Finance with group quarterly consolidation and group quarterly consolidation.

We are looking for a team player with strong communication skills. An understanding and previous use of a finance system/ERP is required, and advanced Excel skills are a significant advantage.
