Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Clarus Education Ltd.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL) in a dynamic and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with SEN and EAL in a one-to-one and small group setting
  • Assist with the identification and assessment of SEN and EAL needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes social inclusion and emotional well-being
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless support
Requirements
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in literacy and numeracy
  • Experience working with students with SEN and EAL
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • First Aid training and enhanced DBS clearance
