We are seeking a highly skilled Tree Care Specialist to join our team at Bighornlaw. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert advice to clients on tree care and maintenance services, as well as ensure the safe removal of trees.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong knowledge of tree anatomy, excellent communication skills, and physical ability to lift and climb. You will be responsible for pruning, climbing, client visits, diseased tree care, and tree removal.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice to clients on tree care and maintenance services
  • Ensure the safe removal of trees
  • Prune trees following A300 standards
  • Work safely in tree canopies by climbing and aerial lifts
  • Care for diseased trees
  • Operate handsaws, chainsaws, tree trimmers, and pruners for tree maintenance
Essential Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of tree and soil anatomy and biology
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb trees, and work at high heights
  • Preferred: Certified arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA)
Compensation and Benefits
