We are seeking an experienced Retail Industry Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Partner Solutions Architecture team, you will be responsible for creating strategies, best practices, and solutions addressing complex business challenges focusing on the retail industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement solutions for retail industry customers, including ECommerce, Point of Sale (POS), Merchandizing and Planning, Supply Chain and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Collaborate with AWS software and consulting partners to deliver technical webinars, speak at public events, and author whitepapers and reference architectures
  • Work with a wide array of AWS software and consulting partners, from well-established tech & consulting giants to innovative startups that were born in the cloud

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
  • Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
  • Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
  • Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)
