About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and professional Data Analyst / Assistant Underwriter to join our team in Portsmouth on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce monthly and weekly reports, data analysis, and pricing administration.
  • Assist in product development and evaluation, adhering to FCA regulations.
  • Monitor Service Level Agreements, contracts, and legal requirements.
  • Deliver tenders and produce reports and presentations for the pricing team, senior managers, and clients.
  • Analyse prospect and live scheme performance data.
  • Prepare and attend pricing team meetings.
  • Ensure timely completion of all activities.
Requirements
  • Strong experience of using MS Excel.
  • Good negotiation, time management, and organisation skills.
  • Experience of using PowerPoint and Word.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role.
  • Some experience in a general insurance role.
