About the Role

Gensler's Birmingham office is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to contribute to our team of design thinkers and doers who specialize in creating innovative workplace environments. As a key member of our Interiors Team, you will work on a variety of projects within the professional services sector, collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver exceptional design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to all project phases, from project strategy to design development, collaborating with multiple disciplines to deliver high-quality design solutions.
  • Produce graphic presentations, including 3D renderings, to effectively communicate design ideas to clients.
  • Assist in managing team and client communication, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to achieve project objectives.
  • Contribute to our office and firm culture, initiatives, mentorship, and talent development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited school.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Corporate/Workplace Interior Design, with a strong understanding of design development and project execution.
  • Proficiency in Revit and Autocad, with excellent graphic and visualization skills.
  • Demonstrable presentation and client relations skills, with the ability to communicate design ideas effectively.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
