Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents, ensuring their nutritional needs are met and their dietary requirements are catered for.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare menus that cater to the diverse needs of our residents
  • Lead a small team of kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal service
  • Source fresh produce and ingredients to maintain high-quality standards
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless service
Requirements
  • 12+ months experience as a head chef in a care setting
  • Proven track record of leading a kitchen team and managing staff
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of nutrition
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
