Job Summary

We are seeking an Apprentice Field Service Engineer to join our team at Recruit Mint Ltd. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and Repair of Machinery: Conduct routine and preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and perform repairs on a wide variety of machinery and equipment.
  • On-Site Technical Support: Offer technical support and training to help customers understand and operate machinery effectively.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document service activities, including work orders, service reports, and customer feedback.
  • Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Workload Management: Manage workload effectively, balancing multiple service requests while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Recognized Engineering Apprenticeship: You should have a recognized engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • Field-Based Servicing Experience: Previous experience within field-based servicing is essential.
  • Customer Service Skills: You must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • Electrical Bias: Ideally, you will have an electrical bias.
Benefits
  • Competitive Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum.
  • Flexible Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30am to 05:00pm, Friday 07:30am to 11:30am.
  • Overtime Pay: Overtime paid at x1.5 over a 40-hour week (x2 on Sundays).
  • OTE: £60,000+.
  • Company Vehicle: You will be provided with a company vehicle.
