Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Music Educator to teach music to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic music lessons, developing and implementing a comprehensive music curriculum, and inspiring students through innovative teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality music lessons to students, promoting a love for music and enhancing their musical abilities.
  • Develop and implement a music curriculum that caters to a variety of musical interests and skill levels.
  • Use creative and innovative teaching methods to inspire students and promote musical growth.
  • Organize and lead extracurricular music activities, including choirs, bands, and school performances.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their musical development.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
  • Creativity and adaptability in delivering a diverse music curriculum.
  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in music education are highly desirable.
