Join Alter Domus as an Accounting Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Officer to join our team at Alter Domus. As an Accounting Officer, you will play a key role in assisting with bookkeeping and reporting, conducting effective cash management of client entities, and undertaking regular cash reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation of client entities management accounts and financial statements under UK GAAP or IFRS;
  • Assist the team with the annual audit process;
  • Assist the team with ongoing tax compliance responsibilities;
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as required;
  • Assist clients in incorporation and administration of asset holding vehicles, financing entities, and real estate companies;
Requirements:
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and cash reconciliations is an advantage;
  • Relevant working experience in an accounting or finance-related role is preferred;
  • You will be educated to the equivalent of 5 GCSEs (grades 5 to 9 in Maths and English preferred), A-Levels, or a University Degree;
  • Studying or be prepared to study towards a recognised professional qualification, such as ACCA or ACA (study costs fully supported by Alter Domus);
  • Knowledge or previous experience in corporate services and Private Equity accounting is an asset;
