About the Role

The Digital Development and Transformation Lead will be responsible for working with the PCN to develop and support the delivery of a strategic plan to expand and implement digital capability, alongside the progression and collaboration of Practices within Mid Furness Primary Care Network.

The plan will be underpinned by a quality improvement methodology, ensuring that the PCN and its member practices consistently utilise the latest technology to improve patient services, maximise clinical efficiency, enhance internal communications and support improved information management.

Main Responsibilities

  • Enhance integrated working, building on staff skills and improving capabilities
  • Drive efficiency and minimises waste
  • Delivered through evidence-based data to support decision-making that includes but is not limited to demand, capacity, utilisation data, staff and patient experience
  • Aligned to areas within MF PCN Health Improvement and Neighbourhood Inequalities Plan
  • Protecting and developing our workforce
  • Takes into consideration the digital maturity of the PCN
  • To improve digital accessibility for our patients
  • Keep up to date with new digital and IT developments in areas of PCN & practice support and clinical delivery
  • Develop good working relationships with the ICB and other IT & Digital teams to identify opportunities for support and development

  • Management skills, training/leadership/motivation
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
