About the Role:
">The Administration Officer role is a demanding and diverse position within a busy department that aims to provide a comprehensive service to its prestigious clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for the department, ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist in organizing company presentations, meetings, and careers events to promote the company's objectives.
- Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and excellent customer service skills.
- Gather and develop general knowledge of client companies and their contract requirements.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to client and cadet queries, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Develop and maintain good administrative practices, including updating trainee databases and personnel files, coordinating cadet availability, and processing documentation.
- Comply with ISO 9001 standards and adhere to the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998, maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
- Ensure health and safety standards are met, adhering to Northern Marine's Health and Safety Policy and relevant legislation.
Candidate Requirements:
- Sound education at Standard Grade level or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient in using administrative software and equipment.
- Good team attitude and attention to detail.
- Reliable, flexible, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
