Job Title: Senior Climate Risk Consultant

We are seeking talented professionals to drive Corporate Sustainable ESG change and make a lasting impact at Timely Recruit Limited. As a Senior Climate Risk Consultant, you will join a team of specialist Corporate ESG consultants, Net Zero specialists, and Climate risk Consultants.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £70,000 per annum. This figure is based on the company's policy of offering competitive salaries according to industry standards and market rates in London (Hybrid working arrangement) or Surrey locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Climate Transition Risk Analysis: You will be responsible for advising and supporting our clients to identify the risks and opportunities related to the impacts of physical climate change and the transition to a low-carbon economy.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to understand client business models, governance frameworks, and climate-related financial risk and opportunities.
  • Clients Advisory: Provide expert advice to clients on best-practice climate change management and sustainability strategies.

Requirements:
  • Consulting Experience: 2+ years of consulting experience in a relevant work position, on topics such as climate strategies, climate risk analysis and management, financial accounting, GHG accounting and data management, internal carbon pricing, carbon credits and removals, climate target setting, transition planning.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; strong understanding of financial modelling, P&L, balance sheet, forecasting finances with development of climate sensitivity and scenario modelling; knowledge of financial auditing and regulatory frameworks including experience of GHG Protocol requirements.
