Zachary Daniels is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its property function, overseeing the acquisition, disposal, and management of retail properties to drive business growth and improve performance. **Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive property strategy, aligning with the retailer's business objectives and ensuring optimal use of resources.
  • Lead the acquisition and disposal of retail properties, negotiating favourable terms and conditions that benefit both parties involved.
  • Manage lease negotiations and renewals, securing agreements that balance business needs with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate store openings, relocations, and closures, minimising disruption and maximising efficiency.
  • Analyse market trends to identify new growth opportunities, informing strategic decisions and driving business growth.
  • Oversee property management activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards, and maintaining high-quality facilities that enhance the customer experience.
  • Build and maintain relationships with landlords, agents, and local authorities, fostering a collaborative environment that supports business success.
  • Manage and develop an established team of property professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present property performance and strategy reports to the executive board, providing actionable insights and influencing decisions that shape the future of the business.

**Estimated Salary:** £100,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

**Qualifications:**

  • Extensive experience in property management, real estate, or a related field, preferably within the retail sector.
  • A strong understanding of property law, lease agreements, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • A proven ability to analyse data and market trends for strategic decision-making.
  • Leadership experience with a successful track record in managing teams and projects.
  • Relevant qualifications in property, real estate, or business management.
