Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our dynamic team at Step Teachers. As a Science Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of students and inspiring a love of science.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver comprehensive science lessons that foster curiosity and a deep understanding of scientific concepts.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, including hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and multimedia resources, to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas, and make connections between science and the world around them.
  • Assess student progress, provide timely feedback, and adjust instruction as needed to meet the needs of individual learners.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Bachelor's degree in science, education, or a related field
  • Experience at the secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge across multiple scientific disciplines, including biology, chemistry, and physics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying current with best practices in science education
