About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced primary school teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. As a KS2 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting the development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Dynamic Lessons: Create and deliver interactive lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of your students, encouraging participation and creativity.
  • Nurture a Positive Learning Environment: Cultivate a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all pupils feel valued and motivated to succeed.
  • Manage Behaviour Effectively: Use proven behaviour management techniques to maintain a calm and focused learning space.
  • Assess and Monitor Progress: Track student progress and provide meaningful feedback to help guide their development.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues and Parents: Work closely with school staff and communicate with parents to ensure the well-being and academic success of your pupils.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/PGCE): A recognised teaching qualification is essential.
  • Primary School Experience: Experience working in primary schools is preferred but not essential (placements during training will be considered).
  • Curriculum Knowledge: A good understanding of the primary curriculum and a range of teaching strategies.
  • SEN Experience (Beneficial): Experience working with students who have special educational needs (SEN) is helpful but not required.
  • Driving Licence (Beneficial): While not essential, being able to drive will make it easier for you to travel, especially if you are based in Bournemouth or the surrounding areas.
