Job Summary:

Everpool is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance activities and routine safety inspections to ensure the integrity of our electrical systems.
  • Conduct fault finding and diagnostics in reactive breakdown or planned situations to minimize downtime.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on a variety of production machinery, including extruders and site services.
  • Ensure all breakdowns are dealt with promptly and efficiently, while maintaining PPM schedules.
  • Respond promptly to any unplanned maintenance issues or repairs to ensure minimum downtime.
  • Demonstrate tenacity in approach to incident management and actively pursue investigations to identify root causes.

Requirements:
  • Flexible, highly motivated, and driven individual with the ability to prioritize own workload.
  • Strong intellect, good logical fault-finding analysis capabilities, and ability to make decisions and empower people to drive actions forward.
  • Results-oriented, with ability to deliver results in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Time served apprenticeship (or equivalent) and recognized qualification in a related discipline (or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with ability to work as a confident team player.
  • Experience of working in a production maintenance environment is essential for this role.

Qualifications:
  • Recognized Electrical Engineering qualification.
  • NVQ or HNC/ Degree level qualification in an Engineering discipline.
  • 18th Edition BS7671.
