Asbestos Consultant Role

At Tersus Consultancy, we are seeking an experienced Asbestos Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough surveys, including management and refurbishment & demolition surveys, ensuring accurate bulk sampling and precise site notes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct surveys and sampling to identify asbestos-containing materials
  • Engage in comprehensive training programs to stay current with industry trends
  • Complete tasks ranging from statutory re-inspections to airborne fibre monitoring and 4-stage clearance activities
  • Provide expert asbestos management advice to clients, significantly contributing to health and safety
  • Ensure all asbestos-related work meets quality standards, collaborating with the technical team
  • Compile accurate reports, maintaining site laboratory integrity and reliability

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of current asbestos regulations, including P402, P403, and P404 qualifications
  • A proactive mindset, dedicated to meeting deadlines
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience working in a UKAS accredited environment
  • Possession of a full UK Driving Licence
