Key Responsibilities
As a Navigation Architect at Leonardo SpA, you will be responsible for designing and developing navigation systems for our future products. Your primary responsibilities will include researching and developing next-generation algorithms and architectures, building demonstrator models for autonomous decision making and flight, and advancing these capabilities with a view to engaging with both internal stakeholders and customers.

The ideal candidate should have a strong mathematical and engineering background, with the ability to understand concepts from academic literature and transform them into modelling environments. Experience with coding and software development, preferably in MATLAB and/or Python, is essential. Additionally, working and delivering designs using Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban is required. A degree in a STEM related subject and relevant equivalent experience are also necessary. A PhD in one of these areas would be an advantage. You must also be eligible for full security clearance and may need to satisfy further UK eyes only and ITAR conditions.
