Job Title: Quantity Surveying Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveying Specialist to join our team at Europlan Group. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced quantity surveyor to take on a specialist role and provide expert advice on project costs and finances.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum

About the Role

This position involves providing technical expertise on project costs and finances, including estimating, budgeting, and forecasting. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed breakdowns of costs for labor, materials, and equipment
  • Analyze financial data and identify variances from the budget
  • Provide expert advice on project costs and finances
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop risk registers and mitigation strategies

Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • RICS membership or working towards membership

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or a related field
  • Familiarity with NEC/JCT and other contract management frameworks
