Job Summary

The Assistant Merchandise Planner will play a key role in helping us deliver our internal brand ranges of D-K cup lingerie and swimwear. Reporting to the Senior Merchandiser, you'll work closely with the buying and design teams to plan and execute our merchandising strategy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Trading Performance: Review weekly trading performance to identify trends and opportunities, and propose actions to drive sales and profitability.
  • Stock Management: Manage stock inventory, including pricing suggestions and working with the Senior Merchandiser to hit stock and margin targets.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Forecast sales and buys by line to hit category budgets and support trading and planning decisions.
  • Continuity and Availability: Maintain continuity product availability across all channels, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
  • Intake and Launch Management: Manage intake and ensure order deadlines and launch dates are met, supporting the buying and design teams.
  • Insights and Analysis: Produce insights and analysis to support trading and planning decisions, leveraging data to drive business growth.
  • MAA Development: Support and develop the Merchandise Assistant Associate (MAA) to enhance their skills and contribute to the team's success.

About You

  • Merchandising Experience: Currently in an Assistant Merchandiser or similar role within fashion retail, with experience in forecasting and managing a WSSI.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and data analysis skills, with excellent Excel skills and the ability to learn new systems.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work collaboratively within a small team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Accurate and attentive to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
