In the dynamic environment of Ably Resources, we are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Electrical Engineer Specialist to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in the design, implementation, and management of electrical systems for renewable energy projects.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Electrical Systems Manager to plan, design, and execute electrical engineering projects
- Develop and review electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts for renewable energy systems
- Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations to support project development
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical equipment and systems at project sites
- Provide technical support and guidance to subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety and sustainability
- Prepare and present technical reports, documentation, and project updates to internal and external stakeholders
Estimated salary range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification or equivalent (preferred)
- Proven experience in electrical engineering within the renewable energy sector
- Strong knowledge of electrical design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP)
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
