About the Role

The University of Bristol is seeking a highly skilled Sector Specialist to provide strategic advice and support to the Division of Research, Enterprise and Innovation and the Faculty of Life and Health Sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on the development of new life sciences propositions and initiatives to drive innovation at scale.
  • Provide expert guidance on impact, translation, and partnerships components of the Faculty's strategy.
  • Collaborate with industry and government players to grow the University's capacity and capability for life sciences innovation.

Requirements:

  • Senior management experience at the interface of the life sciences industry and academia.
  • Extensive links to leading industry and government players in the life science sector.
  • Deep understanding of Government policies and strategies in relation to life sciences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including motivational, negotiating, influencing, and networking nationally and internationally.
