About the Role

Solus Accident Repair Centres is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Motor Engineer to join our team. As a Motor Engineer, you will play a crucial role in preserving consistency and delivering exceptional customer service across our market-leading business and strategic partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and assessments to determine the extent of damage and recommend repairs.
  • Work closely with our Solus sites and approved repairers to monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and build strong relationships.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art technology to receive and audit estimates, ensuring timely and cost-effective repairs.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to develop and implement best practices for motor claims handling.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Member of either IMI, IRTE, ATA, or VDA, or working towards certification.
  • Strong understanding of motor claims principles and insurance policies.
  • Proficiency in computerized damage estimating systems, including Audatex.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
