Role Overview

As a Lead Product Designer at Entain Group, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience for our gaming products. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the design of seamless and engaging experiences across key casino gaming journeys, including personalization, lobbies, in-game, cross-sell, and jackpots.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a global team of Product & Content Designers, providing guidance, feedback, and fostering a collaborative design culture.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure experience improvements and additions align with pillar and broader UX strategies.
  • Oversee the conception, creation, implementation, and refinement of user research methods to support the optimization of player engagement.
  • Develop on-brand designs that delight our customers and enhance the appeal of the game.
  • Implement player-centric design methodologies, ensuring design decisions are rooted in deep player insights, feedback, and usability best practices.
  • Leverage player feedback, data analytics, industry trends, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions and continuously enhance player experiences.
  • Collaborate with developers, artists, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design concepts and maintain design consistency.
  • Stay at the forefront of the latest UX trends, technologies, and advancements within and outside of the gaming industry, driving innovative design concepts.
  • Help develop a culture of design thinking and innovation throughout the organization, encouraging creative problem-solving and the development of player-centric solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant best practices, brand guidelines, and design system framework.
  • Uphold the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and professionalism in all UX design activities.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in core subject areas associated with the pillar and associated user journeys and products.
  • Expert in User-Centered Design, applying an iterative design process focusing on the users and their needs in each phase of the design process.
  • Highly experienced in Interaction Design, designing interactive products and services, going beyond the item in development to include the way users will interact with it.
  • In-depth understanding of Information Architecture, the design and arrangement of information, content, and navigation in a way that facilitates intuitive and efficient user experiences within digital platforms or systems.
  • Extensive experience in Visual Design, using imagery, color, shapes, typography, and form to enhance usability and improve the user experience.
  • Mastery in Wireframing, designing a website or service at the structural level, laying out content and functionality on a page and taking into account user needs and user journeys.
  • Expert in Accessibility & Inclusive Design, ensuring that products are convenient to all while taking into account user diversity.
  • Advanced knowledge in Usability Testing, proficiency in planning, designing, executing, and analyzing usability tests, knowledge of various testing methods, such as moderated and unmoderated testing, remote testing, and eye-tracking.
  • Well-versed in User Flows, developing the path taken by a prototypical user on a website or app to complete a task.
  • Expert in Workshop Coordination, managing facilitated, interactive sessions conducted either in person or remotely for brainstorming, interactive learning, building relationships, and problem-solving with users or customers.
