At Quant Capital, we're seeking a talented Graduate Trading Desk Operations Engineer - Quant Trading to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of trades and the development of innovative solutions to drive business growth.

About the Role

We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in applied mathematics or engineering. As a Graduate Trading Desk Operations Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with traders, researchers, and technical teams to develop and implement trade orders and automation processes
  • Ensuring accurate trade reflection in all systems through close interface with various business groups
  • Designing and implementing solutions to complex problems, leveraging your coding skills and logical thought processes

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong A-level Maths or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent Excel skills and a logical approach to problem-solving
  • A STEM degree from a top-ranked University
  • Proficiency in coding languages such as VBA, Ruby, Go, Lua, Scala, Python, or C++
  • A passion for delivering solutions to complex problems and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
