The SEN Teaching Assistant role at our client school in Enfield offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with special educational needs. Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities as a SEN Teaching Assistant will include:
- Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN needs.
- Working collaboratively with the class teacher and other support staff to adapt lessons and implement IEPs.
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
