Business Development Manager for Smart Home Products

We are seeking a highly experienced National Account Manager to lead our Smart Home product sales in the UK market.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth and developing strong relationships with key retailers such as Currys, Argos, and John Lewis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with industry leading customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Formulate and agree product and promotional business plans aligned to internal targets and KPIs.
- Develop and maintain effective customer contacts with all relevant functions within the retailers.
- Negotiate range pricing and promotional opportunities to meet both Net Sales and Operational Profit targets.
- Monitor customer performance through accurate forecasting, sales in and sales out information, and budgetary management.
- Work closely with the Ops team to deliver against forecast and minimize Aged stock.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports for all aspects of the business.
- Develop strong working relationships with all internal departments.
- Collect market information, including market data, industry trends, and competitor analysis.
- Negotiate supply agreements with new and existing customers.
- Travel regularly to meet new customers and assist existing ones.
- Attend and participate in trade shows as required.
Requirements:
- Consumer NAM or KAM experience with knowledge of consumer technology.
- Knowledge of retailers such as Currys, Argos, and John Lewis.
- Experience selling directly to retailers and via distribution.
- Deep understanding of the CE retail landscape, ideally around Smart Home products.
- Proven track record of driving significant growth in their field.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
