Heavy Plant Mobile Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Plant Mobile Engineer to join our team at CV Library in the Beckton, London E6 area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing services and repair work on a variety of assets, including trailers, winches, dumpers, diggers, skimmers, telehandlers, Manitou/heavy plant, pallet trucks, and pumps.

A LOLER training certification is highly desirable, but training can be provided.

All jobs are pre-booked through the Head Office team, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy plant equipment and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Salary: Up to £45k basic plus quarterly bonuses

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy plant equipment
  2. Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues
  3. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance
  4. Collaborate with the Head Office team to coordinate job bookings and ensure timely completion

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of heavy plant equipment and maintenance procedures
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
