Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Technician Position

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Listers Volkswagen Commercials in Stratford-upon-Avon. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for the servicing, repair, and diagnostics of all vehicles, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard first time.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical and mechanical repairs, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning servicing.
- Additional responsibilities may include repairs and maintenance on EV and Hybrid vehicles, using electronic diagnostic equipment to focus on areas such as batteries, drive motor, auxiliary drive pack & control systems.
- Fitting manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
- Full understanding of Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business.
- Training and ability to operate additional systems, such as video reporting i.e CitNOW.
- Completing all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
- Working closely with other members of the workshop team to constantly learn and share knowledge.
About You
- Candidates from all backgrounds with experience working in the Automotive sector as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester, or Apprentice Vehicle Technician are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- MOT License beneficial but not essential.
- Full UK Driving licence.
