Asset Renewal Inspector

As an Asset Renewal Inspector at Network Rail, you will be responsible for assisting the Section Manager in the inspection, maintenance, and renewal of assets to standards and within agreed resource levels, budget, and unit cost measures.

Main Responsibilities:

• Inspect and maintain assets to ensure compliance with standards.
• Supervise the delivery of work and undertake specific inspections as required.
• Assist in the management of staff as directed.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Experience of directing and supervising worksites and the safe and efficient delivery of work.
• Knowledge of resource and work organisation/planning processes and systems.
• Knowledge and experience of rail testing & lubrication inspection, maintenance, renewal, and asset condition assessment techniques.

Requirements:

• Able to demonstrate, promote, and embed safe working behaviours within the team.
• Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Able to coach, influence and develop others.
