Job Title: Metering Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Metering Engineer to join our team at SGS. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of fiscal and allocation gas and oil metering facilities, while building strong relationships with clients to reduce the total ownership of these facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering support on technical issues related to hydrocarbon allocation and process modeling implementation.
  • Liaise with client representatives to identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in metering systems operation and efficiency.
  • Review and update metering manuals and procedures, as well as measurement and allocation strategies.
  • Manage the provision of and engagement of third-party contractors for contract execution.
  • Identify and action timely purchase, repair, calibration, and recertification of field and test equipment.
  • Manage the utilization of SGS calibration and recertification activities for projects.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Experience within the oil and gas metering industry or a similar field.

A current Offshore Survival Certificate and Offshore Medical Certificate (desirable).

Competence in the use of KIMS, K-Trac, K-Log, and FM2P.
