Senior Engineering Leadership Position

The Director, Systems Engineering is a senior leadership role that is aligned with the sales RVP for our UK & I operation.

With two distinct lines of business, Enterprise and Commercial, the successful candidate will have experience of selling into large organisations, as well as a thorough understanding of the value of leveraging channel partners and how to maximise that value.

The Director, Systems Engineering will need to have a broad base of skills and experience, be a good communicator and leader, a team motivator, and will need to work well with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Help grow revenue within the region
  • Drive the right behaviours and transformation across the entire sales organisation
  • Hire and lead a world-class team of Sales Engineers, ensuring technical success throughout the sales process
  • Align overlay resources to the region's success
  • Ensure every employee has an Individual Development Plan
  • Build a network and undertake regular team-building events as appropriate
  • Leverage the field management process to build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between pre and post-sales activities, while ensuring solutions are implemented and supported in-line with client expectations

Pure Storage, Inc. is primarily an in-office environment. Therefore, you will be expected to work from the UK office in compliance with Pure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
