About the Role

Mace is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Data Centre team in Northumberland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project plans, ensuring they are aligned with the overall business strategy and objectives.
  • Lead and manage project teams, including consultants, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Manage project budgets, highlighting any risks, challenges, and mitigations to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with Mace's values, policies, and procedures, including safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, highlighting any issues or concerns to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Participate in and contribute to the development of Mace's Data Centre business, including identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the Data Centre sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in project management, including health and safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body, such as RICS, CIOB, APM, or ICE.
