Job Title: Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at an Outstanding Secondary School in Tower Hamlets.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work with students of varying abilities, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.

As a Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and small group support to students with special educational needs
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Help to promote inclusivity and enjoyment of learning
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement strategies to support students with additional needs
Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about supporting students with special educational needs and has a strong commitment to delivering high-quality education.

Applicants should have experience of working with children, either in a professional or family setting, and be able to demonstrate a positive and proactive approach to supporting students with additional needs.

What We Offer:

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with a competitive daily rate of £90 for the first 12 weeks, rising to £106.

The school is a modern and inclusive environment, with excellent transport links and a welcoming feel.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment.

The successful candidate will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and employment will be subject to references.
