Job SummaryThe Compliance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that our telecommunications services comply with all relevant regulations and standards across various jurisdictions globally. This includes monitoring proposed changes to laws and regulations, assessing potential impacts on our business operations, and developing strategies to address regulatory challenges and minimize risks.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with all relevant telecommunications regulations, policies, and standards.
- Interpret and analyze regulatory requirements to ensure compliance in all aspects of our communications services.
- Develop and implement strategies to address regulatory challenges and minimize risks.
- Serve as a point of contact for regulatory authorities, industry associations, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and articulate internal policy positions on regulatory issues.
- Implement systems and processes to monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Prepare regulatory compliance reports for senior management and regulatory authorities as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory considerations are integrated into product design and implementation.
- 5+ years of experience in telecommunications regulatory compliance, preferably in an international context.
- In-depth knowledge of telecommunications laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and develop practical compliance solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successfully managing regulatory compliance programs and initiatives.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
