We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Laboratory Services team (Research Operations) at St George's University of London. The successful candidate will provide technical support to research and teaching laboratories in Jenner Wing, ensuring the smooth operation of laboratory activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to research and teaching laboratories, including glassware washing, autoclaving, and media preparation.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient laboratory operations, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve laboratory goals.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of prioritisation and organisation to manage a high volume of work and priorities effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless laboratory operations.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a research or diagnostic laboratory.
  • Strong organisational, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
