Cloud Architect Opportunity at Cogent IBS

Cogent IBS is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have 12 years of experience in technology and a proven track record of success as a Solution Architect for multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement cloud-based solutions using container technologies such as VMware Tanzu, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
  2. Develop and maintain enterprise-scale Java Spring/Spring Boot Spring Cloud services.
  3. Migrate legacy applications to microservices architectures, perform performance tuning, and conduct cost-benefit risk analysis.
  4. Work with NoSQL technologies like DynamoDB and relational databases like Oracle and Postgres.
  5. Implement API security standards and design REST APIs using Swagger and OpenAPI 3.0.
  6. Experience with CI/CD tools, frameworks, and methodologies, including Jenkins, Maven, Jira, ServiceNow, and GitHub.
  7. Domain Driven Design, BDD/TDD, and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean, Startup, XP).
  8. Event-driven platforms like Apache Kafka and messaging technologies like IBM MQ and AWS SQS.

Healthcare Work Experience (Preferred)

  1. Understanding of EDI transactions, X12 data formats, and secure file transfers.
  2. Healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA, and exchange formats like HL7 and FHIR.
  3. Domain expertise in claims, Enrollment, Eligibility, Referrals, and Authorizations.

Leadership and Soft Skills

  1. Strong communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration abilities.
  2. Proven decision-making, influencing, accountability, and continuous improvement skills.
