Job Title: Radiographer

Job Summary:

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our team. As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to a varied caseload. You will work with leading practitioners, experience new practices, equipment, and facilities, and supervise and develop more junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a very varied caseload – within the department, on the ward, and in theatre.
  • Work with leading practitioners and experience new practices, equipment, and facilities.
  • Supervise and develop more junior staff members.
  • Provide a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.

Requirements:

  • High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail.
  • A caring nature – to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.
  • A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Radiation Protection Supervisor training and/or qualification are desirable.
  • Post-registration experience relevant to the role.
  • Excellent communication and team-working abilities.
