We are seeking an experienced Maths and English Trainer and Community Development Worker to join our team at Trafford College. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality maths and English training to adult learners, as well as developing and implementing community development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver maths and English training to adult learners, using a range of teaching and learning strategies.
- Develop and implement community development initiatives, working with local partners and stakeholders.
- Provide learners with an exceptional educational experience, enabling them to maximise their potential.
- Identify marketing opportunities and create marketing materials to meet individual community needs.
- Represent the College in a calendar of events to raise the profile of Community learning.
- Substantial and recent experience of working as a community development worker.
- Experience of teaching adults, particularly in maths and English.
- Experience of delivering maths and English programmes, as well as community learning courses.
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively.
- Flexible approach to work, with a willingness to adapt to new ideas and initiatives.
