Job Summary:

Chesterfield College is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic professional to join our Construction team as a Lecturer in Multiskills. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a range of programmes from Levels 1 to 2 in multi-skill construction courses in both workshops and classroom environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and assess students on multi-skill construction courses
  • Develop and deliver curriculum content to meet the needs of students and industry
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Contribute to the development of the Construction team and the college as a whole

Requirements:

  • At least a Level 2 qualification in an associated trade (Brickwork, Plastering, Joinery or Painting and Decorating)
  • Varied experience working in the Construction Industry
  • Passion for teaching and training the next generation of construction workers
  • Desirable: possession of a teacher training qualification or a relevant assessor award
