About the Role:

CNC Turner is a skilled professional responsible for programming, setting, and operating Doosan Puma Lathes with Fanuc control, directly from drawings. This role involves working with a variety of materials, from non-ferrous to nickel alloys, and offers a four-day working week with the potential for overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programme CNC lathes directly from engineering drawings.
• Set and operate Doosan Puma Lathes with Fanuc control.
• Work with a diverse range of materials, ensuring high-quality output.
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot any issues to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to optimise machining processes.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner with the ability to programme from drawings.
• Familiarity with Doosan Puma Lathes and Fanuc controls.
• Strong understanding of different materials and machining techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Commitment to quality and precision in all aspects of work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
