Solutions Engineering Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our client's UK-wide sales team. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your industry specialist knowledge and contribute to the growth of the sales team.

The role involves managing customer portfolios, identifying sales opportunities, and developing new business within the Rail, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, Environment, Material Handling, or Pharmaceuticals sectors.

Key aspects of the job include:

  • Working closely with National Account Managers to support key accounts.
  • Identifying sales opportunities within specific sectors.
  • Managing account portfolios and providing excellent customer service.
  • Building strong relationships and identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Establishing new business and reconnecting with inactive clients.
  • Promoting the brand and services to a high standard.
  • Researching, networking, and contacting new and existing clients to develop business.
  • Delivering sales training and development programs to ensure skills and knowledge are up-to-date.
  • Attending meetings and exhibitions to stay informed about industry trends.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package including £50,000 - £55,000 Basic DOE, up to 20% bonus, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, Car, health care, dental care, and pension.
