About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team as a Lead Pharmacist - Antimicrobial Stewardship. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team to develop and implement strategies to improve antimicrobial use and reduce the risk of antimicrobial resistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement antimicrobial stewardship strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
  • Work closely with the antimicrobial lead and multidisciplinary team to develop and implement policies and procedures related to antimicrobial use.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to healthcare professionals on antimicrobial use and stewardship.
  • Monitor and analyze antimicrobial use data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to reduce antimicrobial resistance.
  • Collaborate with the infection control team to develop and implement strategies to reduce hospital-acquired infections.
  • Develop and deliver education and training programs for healthcare professionals on antimicrobial use and stewardship.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies related to antimicrobial use.
