About the Role

Cornish Lithium Plc is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at the TreLith Processing Site in Cornwall. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our hydrometallurgy demonstration plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare samples according to approved test methods and standard operating procedures.
  • Analyze data using instrument software and our in-house company data analysis spreadsheets.
  • Ensure instrument calibrations are correct and recorded.
  • Report results to LIMS in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support the laboratory manager in developing new or improved test methods or laboratory procedures.
Requirements
  • HND in Chemistry (or equivalent qualification)
  • Two years laboratory experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-starter.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, pro-active.
  • Strong competence in IT
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Working Conditions

The role will be based at the Company's TreLith Processing Site, St. Dennis, St. Austell, Cornwall. Annual leave comprises 25 days' holiday per year pro rata, plus UK Bank Holidays. Successful applicants must be prepared to work a shift rota which will include nightshift and weekend working.
