Commercial Gas/HVAC Engineer Opportunity

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer with a bias towards gas systems to join our team in the South West Region. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial heating systems, as well as some air conditioning and other associated HVAC plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
  • Provide first-line maintenance support for allocated sites.
  • Ensure all technical and compliance paperwork is up-to-date and completed.
  • Service and repair a range of mechanical equipment, including boilers, fans, pumps, AHUs, and FCUs.
  • Adhere to safe working practices for 3-phase and single-phase electrics.
  • Conduct site surveys and complete reports as required by management.

Requirements:

  • ACS Gas certification (COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1, TPCP1A).
  • Desirable qualifications include City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas Category 1 and 17th or 18th Edition.
  • Ability to work in a mobile role, traveling around the region from home.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Full driving license.
