Digital Safety Specialist

Job SummaryThis role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our sustainability and safety efforts, influence environmental strategies, and safety improvement projects. As a Digital Safety Engineer, you will work with experienced safety professionals across Airbus to develop and deploy project plans to realise improvements across the Broughton plant.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead projects in line with sustainability and environmental regulations, such as the Green Deal;
- Provide cost estimations, consolidations, analysis, operational planning, and monitoring for relevant projects and initiatives;
- Manage all aspects of projects, including contracting, documentation, action plans, reporting, and risk and opportunity assessments;
- Implement sustainability and environmental governance and target cascading in collaboration with stakeholders (Sites, Functions, and Plant Leaders);
- Ensure proper execution of risk and opportunity assessments;
- Advocate for safety and sustainability, fostering lasting connections across the Airbus Plant, and inspiring and engaging colleagues;
- Communicate sustainability and environmental achievements internally and across digital platforms;
- Work alongside the Industrial Maintenance EHS Manager on technical, behavioral, and cultural improvements;
- Work with Industrial Maintenance teams to implement transnational best practices in various production environments;
- Engage with experienced safety professionals across Airbus to enhance the safe use of a wide range of industrial equipment;
- Collaborate with local production teams, including Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and Safety, to develop and execute project plans aimed at improving safety across the Broughton plant.

- Studying towards a degree in Manufacturing, Production Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environment, or equivalent;
- Familiarity with Google Suite or Microsoft tools;
- Ability to think strategically and translate improvement practices into local project plans;
- Ability to build business cases to justify any expenditure required to deliver the improvement projects;
Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance OR You will be subject to a BPSS check (including a criminal record check). This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation, and sustainable growth.
