Band 5/6 Health and Wellbeing Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Mental Health Nurse to join our team on Cherry Ward as a Band 5/6 Health and Wellbeing Nurse. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our service users and supporting the development of our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Practice Management: You will be responsible for carrying out clinical practice within the designated clinical areas, ensuring that high-quality evidence-based nursing assessment, care planning, interventions, and evaluations for patients are provided.
- Teaching, Education & Health Promotion: You will use your specialist skills, knowledge, and resources to provide mentoring opportunities for staff within designated areas and promote positive attitudes towards mental health.
- Continuing Professional Development: You will maintain and develop your professional knowledge, skills, and expertise to ensure that your practice reflects best practice, remains evidence-based, is current, and responsive to meet changing patient and NHS service needs.
- Finance and Workforce: You will make best use of available workforce resources based on agreed staffing models to ensure the provision of best care possible.
- Record Keeping and Administration: You will maintain and enforce standards of record keeping and associated administration in accordance with AWP Trust Policy and local joint arrangements, and professional guidelines.
- Evidence-Based Nursing, Practice Development & Clinical Audit: You will be involved in practice development activity and evidence-based mental health nursing.
