Process Technician (Injection Moulding)

Azenta Life Sciences, a leading manufacturer of consumables and bench top instrumentation for the life sciences industry, is seeking an experienced Process Technician to join their team at the Manufacturing site in Wotton, Surrey.
Key Responsibilities
- Support all machines in production/Lab to ensure efficient operation and quality-approved products.
- Carry out mould tool changes as scheduled or required.
- Process and adapt moulding conditions to produce QC-approved components.
- Assist mould shop Supervisors in obtaining First Off approval at the start of each production batch.
- Complete production paperwork as required.
- Liaise with the Tool Room and QC departments as needed.
- Perform other tasks as required from time to time.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
- In-depth experience of Injection moulding processes and associated parameters.
- Experience with mould mounting using overhead gantry and hoist.
- Good understanding of mould tool construction and architecture.
- Experience with 6-axis robots is advantageous.
- Computer competency and literacy, including emails, Word, Excel, and document creation.
- Experience with ISO 14644 clean room operations.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and 13485 operations.
- Experience with Health and Safety/safe working practices.
- Previous manufacturing experience is desirable.
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted.
- Integrity and reliability.
- Initiative and self-motivation/Effective communication skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail & Ability to work to deadlines.
- The ability to adapt to change and maintain a positive attitude.
- Committed to continuous improvements.
**Due to site rural location, own transport is required**
